Can I download a free demo version of PerioPal?

Yes. You can download, install, and register a copy of PerioPal to get acquainted with the benefits of voice driven periodontal software. Evaluate the software at home or at the office!

Be sure to enter a valid email address to receive the PerioPal setup guide and comprehensive training materials. We respect your privacy. We use this email address to occasionally send training tips and announcements about upgrades.

Can I evaluate PerioPal immediately or do I have to purchase a headset first?

While you will use a high quality headset for the evaluation of voice entry, PerioPal can be evaluated immediately using the mouse and keyboard.   Please follow these steps.

Registration requires a valid email address. Why should I provide my email address?

Please enter a valid email address to receive the PerioPal registration number. Do not skip this step. We do not share or sell client information. Registration information, update information, and training tips are the only emails we send.  We will not ask you to purchase additional products or services.

We have firewalls on our server, will they affect the download and registration of PerioPal?

Frewalls should not block the PerioPal download but some firewalls or permission settings can prevent PerioPal's registration. If you have trouble registering, please check with your network administrator.

What is the difference between the Single PC and the Network Install download versions?

The Single PC Installation is for software evaluation or for practices with a single computer workstation. An unlimited number of users can record exams. The practice can network this version at any time.

The Network Install is for networking and sharing a single database and report collection among several computer workstations. It can be installed on an unlimited number of workstations per server based on one server per location.

If we do not renew our subscription, will we lose our previously recorded data?

No, you will not lose exam data.. The printed PDF reports are stored in a folder and can be viewed, printed, or emailed at any time.

Why did PerioPal adopt an annual subscription pricing plan?

You’ve been asking for an annual, unlimited licensing subscription. So, we combined the strongest features of our previous licensing and refined a new and robust subscription platform.  

The move from the perpetual license to an annual subscription approach encourages the use of PerioPal’s improved periodontal solution and enables the practice to spread the expense of a new solution across different cost centers – hardware, installation, and training.

Is the 30-day trial a full version?

Yes.  The free 30-day trial version is 100% functional. PerioPal gives you full access to all the charting features so you can get started right away.   You can explore PerioPal with the voice and/or the mouse option.

Will I need to give my credit card information with the 30-Day Trial?

No payment authorization is required. At the end of the trial, simply activate your annual subscription with a credit card payment. The subscription activation is located on the PerioPal’s Preferences Screen.

How do I upgrade from the trial version to a yearly subscription?

Simply upgrade from the trial version to a yearly account by paying for the first year. Click the SUBSCRIBE button on the Preferences Screen. PerioPal will then process your payment using PayPal.  If you do not have a PayPal account you can make payment using a preferred credit card during the checkout process.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply reactivate year to year.

Does signing up for PerioPal annual subscription lock in the price I will pay each year?

Yes, when you sign up for an annual PerioPal subscription, your annual fee is fixed based on the pricing in effect the date of your initial subscription activation.

Are there any additional or hidden software fees?

There are no software set-up, cancellation, maintenance, or hidden fees.  

There are separate, optional costs such as web training, support packages, headset hardware, and IT services.  We have a list of recommended vendors to assist you with these options.

Do you store my credit card information? 

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, and PayPal. We process payments using PayPal and do not store any of your credit card or payment details on our servers.

Does PerioPal automatically renew my subscription each year?

No.  You will manually renew your subscription from the PerioPal system. Your credit card will never be billed unless you choose to renew your subscription.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds, but we do offer a fully-functional 30-day free trial which you can use to see if PerioPal is right for you.
