PerioPal's voice option is dependent upon continuous, clean sound input. Budget computer systems often result in poor speech recognition performance.
Just because "all my other programs work," do not assume that low-grade hardware components will yield continuous clean sound input required for optimal recording success with PerioPal. A quiet, high-quality system is very important for speech recognition accuracy.
MOUSE USERS: If you plan to use PerioPal with the mouse method of data entry, any system with XP will yield excellent charting results.
