How does the PerioPal-DataGrabber Bridge integration work?

(Windows XP )  PerioPal is designed to be easily interfaced to most popular dental systems using a customized integration license called DataGrabber,

DataGrabber from Apteryx, Inc. allows the automated transfer of patient name, birth date, and record ID number to PerioPal. The DataGrabber interface eliminates the need to modify your dental office system software and still have a fully integrated solution. NOTE: The periodontal exam data is recorded and stored in PeroPal.

Only one DataGrabber license is needed per office server,  Please contact PerioPal for more information and pricing.

Can I use PerioPal in a network manner without the Apteryx bridge option?

Yes, many practices prefer to network only. It is very simple to enter a new patient or retrieve an existing patient in PerioPal. Simply dnter the patient's name and birth date on their first exam.

When activated, the PerioPal Exam Screen does not fill the desktop screen or cover the dental system's charting screen. The PerioPal view is changed by maximizing or minimizing PerioPal by use of the task bar.

Note: The Apteryx Bridge can be added at any time for practices using the Windows XP operating system.
